E-Democracy does not normally moderate/approve posts prior to publication in your forum. However, there are some exceptions to this policy.
- If you are a new or returning member of the forum, your posts will be moderated until your Forum Manager unmoderates your account. Most users are taken off of moderation after their first or second successful post. We primarily moderate new accounts to reduce the amount of SPAM posted in our forums.
- Some users posts are moderated as the result of suspicious forum behavior or rules infractions. If this is the case, you should have been notified via email.
- On rare occasions an entire forum might be placed on moderation at the discretion of the Forum Manager. Again, if this is the case, you should have been notified.
- Even more rarely, we may occasionally miss a moderation request.
If you are posting for the first time or just recently joined the forum, please contact your Forum Manager and ask to be taken off of moderation. You can find your Forum Manager's email address in the left column of your group home page.
If you are unable to reach your Forum Manager or if your problem is not explained by this FAQ, please "Submit a Request" for attention by our support staff.
